In patented RIEGER aseptic double seat valve N13 the technologies of hygienic and aseptic valve design are considered in one valve.
It combines the advantages of the well-proven hygienic double seat valve N1 with those of aseptic double seat valve N7. It could be called a hybrid double-seat valve.
The bellows seals hermetically to the environment. The double valve seat separates the two process lines of one another, so that an undesired mixing of two liquids is avoided.
The special feature of the valve saves CIP/SIP valves and the leakage chamber and thus allows a very compact valve.
This valve replaces the well-known on the market double seat valves with shaft rinsing, thereby reducing the cost for the sealing medium and the control thereof is omitted.
